I want to give you a testimony. I was recently in Romania and I spoke to a church there. I gave testimony of how I was a drug dealer in Texas and had ended up in jail. There was a copy of "Tortured for Christ" in the jail. Having become a Christian in jail, I started reading it. I was deeply affected by the fact that here was a man in jail for doing good and I was in jail for doing bad. I was justly accused but Pastor Wurmbrand was not. Right there in that jail cell God gave me a burden for those suffering persecution for Christ. At that time 35 years ago I begin to pray for Romania and all the other communist countries. I stood in front of that Romanian church a few weeks ago and told them that I had been praying for them for thirty five years. I could not contain myself, all I could do was weep in front of them. We then had an altar call and six people got saved. Because of reading Richard Wurmbrand’s book, 35 years later people got saved.

Jerry also gave us permission to share with you a report that he wrote up from his time in Romanian. Click here for the full report. Praise the Lord for His mercies towards us and the things He allows us to partner with Him in!
