Threaten Me With Heaven - Amy Grant

Due to a very recent event within the Christian music industry, a very popular guitarist named Will Owsley, who played with Amy Grant, committed suicide. At Will's funeral Amy Grant played this song called Threaten Me with Heaven, and as I listened to the lyrics of this song, I couldn't help but think how this song can easily be applied to persecuted followers of Jesus Christ.

And while this song was written from the perspective of someone dying, as followers of Christ, we have no fear of dying because the worst thing that can happen is that we die and spend time in heaven.
