Serial Arsonist Burns More Churches in Texas

A few weeks ago we shared with you that there were a string of at least seven church fires that have taken place in Texas. Today, sadly, we have to report that more church fires are happening in Texas.

According to the Dallas News Blog, there is speculation about who is causing the fires.  Some believe Muslims, liberals and Satan, however investigators really have no idea at this point.  

It also appears that various denominations of churches have been targeted including a Christian Science Church and Baptist and Methodist churches.

The New York Times adds additional information about the string of fires saying that residents of East Texas are enraged and puzzled by the fires. Thomas Crowley, a spokesman for the federal bureau believes there is evidence that the fires were set by a group of individuals and that some of them are related.

As a result of the fires, the NY Times is also reporting that churches have added security and are asking attendees to pay attention to the surroundings at the church.
