Our next speaker is telling us about how the Richard Wurmbrand Christian School was formed in Romania.

Romania is located in the eastern part of Europe. Romanian was a communist country for about 50 years.  Beginning  with the forced abdication of King Michael in 1947, the communists took control of Romania, nationalizing all private property and workers, forcing many to labor camps. Richard Wurmbrand continued to preach the Gospel; Christ's love instead of terrorism.

At the school of his namesake, the goal is to reach the nation for Christ by teaching the children about Biblical values, and encouraging them to develop a personal relationship with Jesus.  The hope is that one day the students will be leaders in their own country, and missionaries to the surrounding nations.  They need our prayers!
