Remembering the Persecuted Prisoners

Today I wanted to remind you that Voice of the Martyrs has a great ministry to the prisoners called Prisoner Alert .  This is one of the most powerful ministries you can engage in because your letters have the power to influence and get some of these dear believers out of prison for their faith in Jesus.

This month you can write to Shabaz Kaka who has currently been imprisoned for 1500 days.  His crime - He was wearing a cross and accused of "desecrating the Koran" because he was using a bathroom adjacent to the Mosque.  He was accused of tearing pages out of the Koran and trampling them underfoot.

Unbelievable right?  Well, you can pray for this brother and also take some time to write to him today.  It's very easy and only takes a few moments.
