Persecution Carnival: Bible Edition

Carnival_6 Earlier this week I put forth a challenge to my persecution bloggers for this weeks carnival and I am very pleased with the entries I received as a result.  If you submitted an entry that wasn't a part of the challenge, I will post that in next weeks carnival.

Our first entry is from Prayer Blog Requests who writes about how Job responded to persecution and offers encouragement to all of us to pray.

Barb gives us her offering this week and focuses on Samson in her post How Samson Triumphed Over Persecution. Samson overcame all  the persecution he brought on himself by disobedience, by exercising his faith in God one last time, when he gave his life to overcome the enemy of God's people.

Next we have Cindy from Inspirational Korner who wrote about Stephen in her post The First Martyred and she also thanks all of those who helped her earn $141 for The Voice of  the Martyrs blogothon last week.

Our fourth offering is from Adam who writes about King Hezekiah in a post titled The Persecution of a King.  Adam writes, "Most of greatest torture will never come from the hands of wicked men, but from our own mind and the devil. We are fools if we rely on our own hands to save us, but must let God rule in our lives."

Jan gives us another great entry by writing about Joseph in her post God's Merciful Provision Through His Suffering Saints .  Jan also ties in modern examples with The Voice of the Martyrs.

Our final offering is from Jill who writes about Paul in her post The Persecution of Paul a great reminder of one of the greatest saints of all time.

The following two persecution bloggers have also submitted their reviews of Iran: Desperate for God.

Read Dave's review at his blog To Tell You the Truth.

Read Jennifer's review at her blog Under His Wings.

Thank you everyone for all the great entries!  You did a great job, and offered much encouragement to me personally.  Please share what you all learned from one another in the comments below.

Talk to you Monday!
