Persecution Blog Round Up

Welcome to this weeks weekend round up!  This week I'm very happy to tell you that we have 10 entries that I know are going to bless your heart.  So sit back, get your water bottle or some coffee and enjoy what our faithful bloggers have written this week about Christian persecution.

This coming Sunday, November 12th is the 10th annual International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted  Church
and a few of our bloggers have written about it.

First, Cindy from Inspirational Korner offers her post Day of Prayer.

Mick from Romans 15:4 also writes about the International Day of Prayer and offers additional information about Martin Luther.

My friend Jordan from the Acton Institute Power Blog also writes about the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church and offers some wonderful quotes from theologians and a prayer you must read.

Michael from Supply the Word asks the question What is the IDOP?  and informs his readers about how they can join with other believers through the ministry of Greater Calling.

E.A. from Religion en Revolucion has given us an post about a cleric who has been freed after 15 months in prison.  Read in Spanish here, and English here.

Our next entry is from the blog Bible Truth Online called Christian Persecution in Turkey. 

Turkish prosecutors slapped criminal charges against two converts to Christianity earlier this month, accusing them of "insulting Turkishness," inciting hatred against Islam and secretly compiling data on private citizens for a local Bible correspondence course.

Barb from Tidbits & Treasures writes about A Prison Warden Repenting. She writes, "A Prison Warden in a detention camp in North Korea had persecuted many Christians. So, it was unlike him to authorize the release of a Christian couple, but he did. Then, he showed up at their house, wanting to talk to them about Christ. "
