Persecution Blog Carnival #1

Today I am thrilled to introduce you to some of our Persecution Bloggers who have joined our blogosphere program.  Thank you all for participating and now...on with the show...

Amy Maxwell begins our carnival with her entry Love Your Enemies which is apart of her blog GentleWhisper.com.  Amy writes, "Buddhists recently destroyed a church in Cambodia.  The Christians didn't demand restitution. In Luke 6:27-36, Jesus says that if someone takes something that belongs to us we should not demand it back.  Have you been wronged lately?  How did you react?"

E. A. González continues our carnival with a submission called Cuban government accuses the Cuban Christian Movement  that exposes how Christians are being threatened with prison and accused of being a counterrevolutionaries.

Our next submission is from Jan Fletcher who writes, "In her post "Wounded Christians," Jan asks, "What wounds are we supposed to heal? and Whose wounds are we supposed to heal? The answers might surprise you."

Greg from the blog Rhymes with Right enters a blog post which reveals the story of Chinese Bishops who have been excommunicated for their role in non-canonical consecration of bishops for the state-controlled counterfeit “Catholic” organization operated by the Beijing regime.

Barb Sanders continues our carnival with her post called Kenyan Radio Station Raided - Guard Killed.

Cindy Grayson who writes at Inspiration Corner shares with us her post called Ukraine: Underground Christians and has been inspired by the great book Extreme Devotion.

Our next submission is from the blog Dolphintidefan called An Open Door is a Good Start which discusses the expression of gratitude and request for prayer and action after China home church advocates met with President Bush.

Pastor Jon blogs about the book Extreme Devotion .

Sheryl writes a post titled Spreading the Light that talks about how The Voice of the Martyrs spreads the light of the gospel.

Natalie who writes at Standards for Life has written a post called Changing World - Unchanging God

And that is the wrap up!  I hope you found some encouragement and inspiration as you read through the entries and next week let's also include an entry from you if you didn't participate this time.

Have a great weekend!
