We have discussed many times on this blog about the anti-converstion laws that many Christians have to deal with in their countries. These laws are generally in countries either hostile towards Christians or it's a restricted nation.
Gospel for Asia has a story about a pastor in a South Asian village who was helping one of the women believers, who had a desire to go to bible college, and was eventually arrested in put in jail.
This pastor was accused of trying to force this woman believer, into becoming a Christian, therefore violating the anti-conversion laws.
According to Gospel for Asia, Pastor Dhevan Das said, "No need to worry about anything when God is with you" and "I do not have much problem in the jail," Dhevan said. "I am taking it as a good opportunity to share God's Word and my testimony with other prisoners."
And as the Lord would have it, turns out that the jailer watching him is a friend of the church. Praise God for that!
The good news is that Dhevan is released from jail at this time, but still has charges pending against him. Please pray the charges are dropped.
You may read more about this story here and please pray for this precious Pastor as he evangelizes in jail.
