North Korea Abuses Highlighted by Dr. Rice
US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice insisted Tuesday that human rights abuses in North Korea should be highlighted, ignoring the risk of angering the Stalinist regime which has delayed talks designed to end its nuclear weapons drive. This according to an article on Relief Web.
The Secretary of State also said, "President Bush wanted "people all over the world to (have the) right to live in dignity, to have human rights respected, to have brighter futures," she said. "We believe the people of North Korea to be no different."
This writer agrees. Everyone in the world was born for freedom and to have that liberty and I'm proud of America for standing for that God given right.
North Korea's dictator has been accused of the following human atrocities, "... deliberate starvation, abduction, family separations, religious persecution, trafficking of women and children, inhumane prison conditions, the use of gas chambers and the likely practice of genocide".
Please remember our leaders in prayer as they try their best to help our neighbors who have ruthless leaders.
