No Motive in Church Slaying Found

A few months ago Terry Ratzmann went into a Wisconsin church and murdered the pastor and a few others in the congregation in pure blood.  Then Ratzmann took his own life by shooting himself in the head.

Today The Chicago Sun Times is reporting that the investigators could not find a reason for the brutal killings.  However they do cite the following:

''Ratzmann, for various reasons, felt the church, particularly the pastor, was responsible for some of the issues Mr. Ratzmann was dealing with -- depression, employment issues, financial issues,'' Bucher said.

That sounds like a motive to me.  When a man is depressed and has employment issues, which lead to financial issues horrible things can happen.  Why Ratzmann decided to kill the pastor and others for these problems we will never know.  But I do think it's interesting that he felt that the church didn't help him.  Sobering thought.
