New Prisoner Alert Available

Northkoreaimage A few days ago I mentioned that I had taken the time to write some prisoners over the weekend.  Well, I know you came here today because you care about the persecuted church and also desire to do something pro-active, so guess what - today is your lucky day because the Prisoner Alert page has been updated with information about the prisoners in North Korea who need our prayers and also letters to their U.N representative.

Very few people have ever lived to speak about the atrocities committed in the dozens of labor camps spread across North Korea. And those who have escaped tell a story beyond belief. A recent interview with a missionary in North Korea tells of her imprisonment there: "I met one woman who was 25. She had been caught with a single Bible and had already (spent) three years (in prison). Another girl was only 19 years old. She was caught with four Bibles. She has since disappeared. The youngest prisoner in our camp was 9. He had wandered over the border in search for food. Prisoners are often beaten beyond recognition. Their bodies are like skeletons. My cellmate was former police. He confessed to personally executing two Christians. He was amazed they did not deny their faith in the face of death."

We do not have a single photo or address of a North Korean prisoner. We ask for your prayers for our brothers and sisters in North Korea, and request you advocate on their behalf to their U.N. representative.

Please visit the Prisoner Alert page and take a few minutes to write, and pray.  These  dear ones are our family in Christ and you have no idea how much your prayers and letters will do and also mean to them.
