Kids of Courage: Arrested for Eating Lunch
Today we wanted to share with you one of the recent blog updates from our wonderful Kids of Courage ministry page.
This is a short testimonial from last year during Ramadan.
Last year Ramadan started on August 11th. On August 12th, Christians Salem Fellak and Hocine Hocini were arrested while eating lunch at their work place in Algeria. After they informed the police that they were Christians, they were taken to the police station anyway. The police charged them with “insulting Islam.” Later an Algerian court found the Christians not guilty.
Today is the 10th day of Ramadan and we've been sharing with you some daily prayer ideas that you can consider praying for our friends in the Muslim world. Since persecution of Christians generally increases during Ramadan, as we see from our above story, today I would ask you to consider praying for our Muslim friends in Algeria. Thank you for your obedience to God's word.
