I want you to know that after reading the following article, you may feel a heavy heart like I do.  As an overwhelmingly blessed Christian in America, I personally cannot even begin to know how these Christian brothers and sisters of mine are dealing with the intense persecution happening in India.

We watch the news and see the terrorist attacks, we read stories all of the time that detail the horror of being persecuted, but if you're like me, sometimes you may feel a little bit helpless.  We ask you to pray, but I bet there are times you think - "Pray...how do I pray, what do I pray for, and really is that ALL I can do?"

The truth is that prayer is the best thing that we can do for our Christian family that is suffering.  Because when Christians pray we are truly conversing with the only ONE TRUE LIVING GOD who sees all things.  The Lord really does see what is happening, and it doesn't go unnoticed by Him, and we need to rest in Him and really seek Him on behalf of our family in Him.

So here is an exercise that will help you to target your prayers for the persecuted specifically in India right now.

First, read this article and then note the following things happening that we can pray for.  I made it easy for you...

Summary of the Acts of Persecution Happening in India Currently:

1)  Destruction of Christian homes

2)  Destruction of Christian churches

3)  Christians being put to death

4)  Christians being forced to flee their homes and live in jungles

5)  Torture

6)  Rape

7)  Ongoing threats to kill pastors

8)  Because of primitive living conditions for those who have fled, now they are dealing with disease like diarrhea and other disease

9)  False rumors being spread about the Christians

10)  Bibles being burned

11)  Being forced to participate in reconversion ceremonies

12)  Massive flooding from bad weather conditions
