Give a Bible to a Person in North Korea for Christmas
When I was relatively young in the faith, I remember talking to a few of my friends who were raised in Christian homes. I remember someone telling me once that they often received a new bible every time something of significance happened to them. I believe one of those times was when someone is baptized and another is often when a person is married. This way they have a family bible where they can record all the deaths and births and other family history, so that everyone has a bible to pass down from generation to generation.
I can tell you that in my family, I didn't have that tradition - but I think it would've been cool to have it. Regardless, I can still go anywhere I want in America and buy a bible anytime I want. However, many of my brothers and sisters in Christ, can't do that. Which is why I wanted to let you know that through the ministry of The Voice of the Martyrs Bibles Unbound program, you can make sure that five people receive a bible every month! And in reality, the people who receive these bibles will most likely share them with others.
Right now we have over 47,660 individuals waiting for a bible and I think it would be great if all of us joined together and helped give some bibles to those who can't just go to the store and buy one.
The Bibles Unbound Program is the perfect way to share the bible with those who need one. For only $30 a month you will have the opportunity to send five bibles to a specific area of the world that you pick. The Voice of the Martyrs offers both covert operations that help get bibles to people in restricted nations, as well as other operations that bring bibles where people need them but may not have an opportunity to go and buy one.
One of the covert operations is in North Korea. Right now there is a need to have 9560 more bibles sponsored for that very area. Please help!
There are also needs for bibles in India, China, Colombia, and Indonesia. Please visit http://www.biblesunbound.com to learn more and sign up today. I know the person receiving the bible you're sponsoring will be very thankful.
