Girl's Killers May Not Receive Justice

Girls killers may not receive justice reads the title of an article that Mission Network News put out today, and yet the first thought that came to my mind is that, they may not receive justice in this lifetime, but they may in the next.

Mission Network News recently spoke to The Voice of the Martyrs Canada about the tragedy that took place with this little nine year old girl who was not only murdered, by also raped and beaten before her body was abandoned.

This tragic incident took place in Pakistan right before Good Friday, where local Christians believe it was used as an intimidation tactic towards them. The rest of the article reads this way...

"In Pakistan, Christians get very little recognition in the legal system. Christian men's testimonies are worth half that of a Muslim man. It is less for women. Their testimony is considered worth just a quarter of that of a Muslim man.  This leaves women and young girls like Nisha Javid as targets for extremist Muslim groups. Justice is often not received for rape cases.  

Javid is not the only child who has been targeted by anti-Christian groups. Recently, an 11-year-old boy was killed near his church in Pakistan. Voice of the Martyrs Canada has said that these groups aren't necessarily planning attacks. Sometimes, they kill Christians who simply seem to be in the way. 

Pray for the safety of Christian children in Pakistan. Pray that Javid's perpetrators will be brought to justice and that her family will find strength in Christ."

Doesn't this break your heart?  It does mine because I know so many little girls and boys and I can't imagine them being used as a tool to get to Christians in America.  We need to pray fervently for the Muslims involved in this case and also for the protection of all the Christians in Pakistan.  Please take a moment to pray right now before you forget.
