Diane Sawyer Reports from North Korea

This morning I was watching Good Morning America and Diane Sawyer was broadcasting live from North Korea.  I was mesmerized by her broadcast because she was given some access to the North Korean people and was able to talk to them about what they thought of America.  It was very fascinating.

However, what was even more fascinating and also frightening was how indoctrinated the North Korean people are.  The literally worship Kim Jong II  - there are huge pictures of him plastered all over the country so that wherever the North Koreans go, they see him.  They also have to wear a lapel pin on their clothing that bears his picture.  And when his picture isn't around they have pictures of flowers that represent him.  It's frightening.

On their televised media they have phrases like, "Today the world is constantly envious of the North Korean people."

Watching this news segment is especially sad when you consider that these people are caught in a spiritual war where the evil one is reigning in that country.  Please remember North Korea in your prayers and ask that the Lord would continue to do the work He is doing there.
