Christian Who Fled Iran Wins Asylum in Kenya

Every follower of Christ has a testimony, and sometimes I know I am amazed at how the Lord draws people into His fold.  Today's great news from Compass Direct is one such story. 

As you will see when you read the full article of this brave couple's quest for freedom, their story is harrowing.  Sadly, Gelanie was raped by police while in jail, and has suffered greatly because of her faith.  Their son, Reza has had to deal with problems and the story of how Mohammad Azbari came to faith in Christ and left Islam and then had to flee country after country until he could live in freedom as a Christian.

I could easily see this families story being made into a film, and the underlying message would be that prayer and the movement of the Holy Spirit in the lives of Christians would be the victor.  This is a powerful story.  Please click here to read the full article and then say a prayer of thanks for what the Lord has done and brought them through.
