Bible Distribution in Turkey

Persecution is common in Muslim dominated countries, which is exactly why it is so cool to see older ladies going on mission trips and handing out bibles in those countries.  Read the full story here.

Here is part of their story...

"We would say something like we would like to make you an official Oklahoman and would give them a pin. And then we would ask them if they would like another gift and that's when we would give them a Bible or New Testament. Actually there are two places that I remember we were told no. One man looked at it and told us no, and then one time we were in a museum and a man sitting behind a desk said he would like to have one but if his boss found out he would be fired immediately. But in most of the shops they were just thrilled to death. They had heard of the Bible but had never seen one, didn't know what it said, had never held one. We figured that we gave out about 30 Bibles, 200 New Testaments and 200 DVDs while we were there.
