August Issue of VOM Magazine

As you know already, if you read my previous post, I loafed around this weekend and read my August issue of Voice of the Martyrs magazine.  Which by the way, you can receive FREE yourself just for signing up for it.

This months magazine is Awesome!  The main topic throughout the issue is on the nation of Nigeria.  There are numerous wonderful articles about what is happening in Nigeria and how our brothers and sisters are enduring persecution for His name.  You really need to get this magazine!

One great article is called Nigeria: Modern Manna from Heaven.  This article discusses a family that was attacked by Muslim extremists and how after they were ambushed and fired on to die, they survived. 

Another article is called A Celebration of Wonders and it's about the opening of the Stephen Center International in Jos, located near Nigeria's Plateau state.  The purpose of the center is to minister to the widows of those who lost their husbands at the hands of Muslim fanatical violence.  Sobering isn't it? 

Then there is information about Shariah law and how that is impacting Christians.  Every Christian should become informed about Shariah law because I think if they did they would no longer be apathetic towards their freedoms here in the United States.

And there is also included in this months magazine a copy of B.A.S.I.C. - Brothers & Sisters in Chains.  This is apart of the Basic Fellowship which exists to help us to remember to pray for, support, provide, encourage and get involved in activities that will help prisoners for Christ.
