Bible Distribution

Many Christians ask for Bibles so that they can share the gospel with their friends and family. The Bible this woman is reading is the same kind VOM distributes throughout Nepal. Believers in Nepal often face greater persecution from their family and neighbors than from the government. However, when Christians are beaten, abused or expelled from their homes, they know they won’t get help or protection from the government either. Christians in Nepal ask only for your prayers. Pray that they will reach out to their friends and family with the gospel, and pray that Christians who need Bibles will get them.

The Persecuted Church

This Pakistani woman offered prayers for her persecuted brothers and sisters after seeing a photograph that the VOM team shared with her.

Her husband has been imprisoned on false charges of being a spy because of his house church activities. When she heard about Asia Bibi, a Pakistani Christian woman who has been imprisoned for three years on charges of blasphemy against Muhammad, the woman immediately knelt to pray for Asia.

Pray for persecuted Christians around the world. Pray that God protects them while they spread the gospel in dangerous places. Join with this Pakistani woman and never cease praying for those who daily risk their lives to live for God.
