COMPASSION. A God given virtue and gift, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to every Spirit filled Christian. Without GOD'S compassion, not one of us would be here. So why is it that many Christian's seem to rarely display their God given compassion? The scriptures will answer this for us. In the book of Hebrews, following the scriptures from verse 32-34, we start in verse 35-39 in chapter 10. "Cast not away your CONFIDENCE , which has great recompense of reward. For you have need of PATIENCE, that after you have done the will of GOD, you might receive the promise. " Verses 37- 39, cover the remaining admonition's that are needed so we do not give up hope. In today's society, I am finding that most Christians; do not have enough PATIENCE to devote time and have COMPASSION on the persecuted church. We are missing the mark in this area of Christianity. John puts it plainly, I John, 4:11,"Beloved, if GOD so loved us, we ought also to love one another." Those that are being persecuted, are our brothers and sisters. We need to grasp what this means to what GOD will hold us accountable for. Loving one another.

How convicting! What a blessing he must have been to have been hated with such intensity.
