Yesterday was the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church and thousands all over the world prayed.
I celebrated the day by wearing my Christians Still Die t-shirt and had a lot of people ask where I bought it. Then I participated in the prayer and viewing of a video that almost didn't show.
At one point I was concerned because the video that my church had decided to play wouldn't at first and I thought to myself, "That's just like the enemy to not want this message to get out."
Then after another praise song, the tech guys were able to get the video fixed and share with the church the need to pray and support our persecuted family.
What did you do?
How did your church participate?
Did you blog about it?
Leave us your feedback because we love hearing from you.
My church couldn't participate on Nov 13 due to a (double) conflict, but is going to hold the observance at a later date. That is an option which the IDOP organizers have prudently provided, knowing the heavy schedules of today's churches. Everyone interested in the growth of the IDOP should be aware of this provision.
