Britains first Christian martyr Alban was celebrated recently in a pagent. I think this is very cool. Here is part of the article:
Said the Dean: "As Britain's first martyr Alban should have a special place in the hearts of the people of this country. June 25 was a colourful, loud and joyous event and it was wonderful to welcome so many pilgrims to St Albans."
Fr Stuart Cradduck, the diocese chaplain for young people, first suggested there was scope for a larger event to mark the life of Alban and he is now planning to make it even bigger and better next year.
