Sometime it's good to be reminded of the Faces of Persecution.
This video is a few weeks old, but definitely worth watching.
You may remember a few months ago the horrific shootings that took place in Colorado where numerous people were killed by Matthew Murray.
For the last three days, Dr. James Dobson from Focus on the Family, has been interviewing the parents of Stephanie and Rachel Works, and the parents of Matthew Murray, the young man who killed them.
Both sets of parents speak to Dr. Dobson about forgiveness, grace and love of God. If you have time, listen to all three programs.
Forgiveness in the Wake of Tragedy
I read this comment this morning - " But under the same fatwa, Miriam will be killed anyway at the age of 10 if she does not choose Islam."
Right now Miriam is a baby and not just any baby, but the baby of an Egyptian couple who converted from Islam to Christianity. Christian World News has the complete story with video.
Please click here to view the video and then please pray for this couple.
Recently I shared with you how I was so blessed to share about the persecuted church with some high school students and I shared with you that part of my presentation was showing them part of the Underground Reality Vietnam DVD that The Voice of the Martyrs has produced.
Today I wanted to introduce you to one of the young me who went to Vietnam to give bibles away, by sharing with you a short video clip from Christian World News on the CBN.com website.
The young man is Brad Konemann who is from Australia and I think once you see him speak in this interview your heart will be warmed and touched as you see his faith and love for the Christians in Vietnam.
Click here to read the associated article and see the short video clip.

Hi Everyone,
It has been a few weeks since I've been able to put together a prayer video for you, and I just wanted to let you know that we are working on it and will get a new one up soon for you.
Feel free to also put it on your blog once it is up!
Thanks!
Stacy
Today as I was doing some research on Christian persecution, I came upon a website about two brothers who made a film about their martyred father. The film is titled A Cry from Iran and the following is a short description of what the film is about.
Two brothers, a murdered father and an untold story of pain and forgiveness are the inspirations behind a six times award-winning documentary on the secret death of a prominent evangelical pastor in Iran, Haik Hovsepian.
For more information and to view a short clip of the movie, please visit the A Cry from Iran website.
This is the untold story of Iranian Christian martyrs, and Christian converts, who became the victims of their beliefs and paid the ultimate price – their lives...
Last week was a horrible week for many families in Colorado. We would ask that you would keep the members of New Life Church, and the staff at Youth with a Mission in your prayers, as well as all the families and friends of those wounded and martyred. This video is in honor of them.
Welcome to this weeks prayer video blog. Please feel free to leave us your feedback in the comment section below. And thank you for praying with us.
I was in Indianapolis, IN this week on the way to a television interview, and had the great privilege of visiting the offices of Crescent Project. This organization works to train Christians in how to reach out to Muslims and share the message of salvation through Jesus Christ with them. And their focus isn’t necessarily on people who are going to barge into Mecca and hand out tracts, but on people RIGHT HERE IN AMERICA! You can reach your neighbor…your doctor…the exchange student at the university in your town. Crescent Project reminds us that you don’t have to GO to be a missionary…God is bringing the mission field onto our own soil!
While I was there I got a sneak peak at CP’s latest project, a small-group curriculum called BRIDGES. It is a six-week small-group study that trains American Christians how to start the discussion with a Muslim, how to find common ground and how to dispel some of the misinformation about Christianity that is commonly taught in Muslim households. The curriculum includes DVD teaching material and study guides, as well as a leader’s guide. There will also be an online component to get additional information and to share stories of what worked (and what didn’t).
The sneak peak got me VERY excited about this incredible tool! CP’s goal is to train one million American Christians to reach out to Muslims with the gospel. The curriculum is available for pre-order now (at a discount!), and you can get a sneak peak at the web site, www.bridgesstudy.com (they have even posted some of the video segments). If you know people who care about reaching Muslims for Christ, CP and BRIDGES provide excellent, unique training resources (CP also has one-day and one-week training seminars held around the country).
My hope is that a million on-fire American Christians trained, equipped and passionate about sharing the gospel with Muslims is only the beginning!

It's nice to know that there are men in our American government who feel that no good government denies God's presence.
I appreciate Representative McCotter's comments, even though we now know the report he cited was wrong. It's nice to know that if it was correct, we'd have a few voices for the persecuted speaking on their behalf.
Our friends at CBN News have done a wonderful job today with a piece about the martyrs from Malatya a few months ago. Please take about 7 minutes to watch their news piece in video form.
Today I am very happy to let you know that the Values Voter Debate is now available to view online. You will note, as you watch the video, that The Voice of the Martyrs is a very proud sponsor of this debate. I especially am thankful for their participation and I hope you are.
The DVD is also available for the low cost of 9.99 which will cover just the necessary expenses. You can order the DVD by going to Values Voter Debate.
Click on over to AFA.NET to watch the full debate.
Thank you for caring about our nation and also for supporting the work of The Voice of the Martyrs.
If you have about 6 minutes to spare and you want to see a nice tribute to Dr. D. James Kennedy, click the following link.
Click Here PleaseThis video is very thought provoking and I want to hear your responses to it. So the comments are open, please share your feelings after viewing. The video is about 6 minutes, so take that time, sit back and watch with your heart open. All comments are moderated before they appear.
Friends, Take a few minutes to watch this moving video that shows the two freed South Korean hostages. They need our prayers, as much as those who are still being held. They reported not being able to sleep and still being very worried about their friends. Watch and then pray, and please pass on to your other blogger friends so they can post this on their sites. We need to keep the buzz about this story going. Thanks - Stacy

I found this testimony of persecuted Christian Abraham Bentar on God Tube. Listen to what he has to say.
This video is elequent in conveying why we need to stand for righteousness and pray for our persecuted family in Jesus Christ.
Today I wanted to share with you a special video message. Enjoy and leave some feedback in the comments below. Blessings.
The video I'm about to highlight isn't about Christian persecution specifically, but it does show the difference between how some non Christian countries treat women compared to how the Christian faith does. The video is GRAPHIC and bloody, so don't watch it if you have a weak stomach.
I applaud CNN for bringing light to such a horrific practice that still continues today. This story highlights "honor killings" that are still happening in Iraq. Her crime - falling in love with a Muslim boy from a different religion.
Sometimes the power of a picture can convey more than a million words. This is The Voice of the Martyrs founder Richard Wurmbrand show his body full of scars from being tortured for Christ.
In light of the horror of the martyrs that have taken place in the last few weeks, I thought it may interest you to view a video concerning persecution in the Middle East particularly towards Palestinian Christians.
Today I wanted to share with you something that has really been on my heart. A few days ago I received an email from Kim Hill, the grammy nominated award singer, telling me about the story of Eric Volz. She attached the following YouTube presentation that tells his story. The following information is about Eric, who I believe is a follower of Christ. That's not confirmed, but his father and mother are Christians.
This is from Eric's MySpace Page
His name is Eric Volz. He is a U.S. Citizen and has just been sentenced to 30 years in a Nicaraguan prison for crimes he did not commit. He was working as the publisher for El Puente Magazine in Nicaragua when he was accused, convicted, and sentenced for murder.
He is suffering a slow and debilitating existence under conditions beyond your comprehension. Fighting starvation and under the constant threat of violent attacks...... his life is on the line everyday!
This is not a joke, this not a game, this is his struggle. The facts of his situation speak for themselves and can be found at the website indicated. If you think you can help him in anyway do not hesitate, we are begging you....his survival could depend on it.
I have also started a blogroll for friends who want to add their site and pray for Eric and this whole situation. Click here to join that blogroll. We will be adding a picture and more in the next few days.
