It is amazing the way that God is using dreams, visions and miraculous occurrences across the Middle East. Islamic culture in particular gives great weight to dreams, and so when Jesus appears in a dream Muslims generally see it as a great show of His power.
"When you want to work as a missionary in the field, especially in a closed country, you have to have vision. I work in these countries because I have a vision to change the Middle East. Your prayers, your support, is literally changing the Middle East. We are sure that one day the Middle East will worship the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Read Isaiah 19."
Our speaker has video of Bibles being handed out in Middle Eastern countries...and there is a great crowd of people gathered around, wanting a copy of God's Word. VOM also helps to print books and other materials to reach Muslims for Christ and then to disciple the new believers.
There is now a Christian newspaper printed in the Middle East that addresses news and other topics from a Christian point of view. There is also Christian radio and television, and Arabic Christian web sites. One web site has gotten about 800,000 hits in four months!
Pray for Muslims to come to know Christ across the Middle East!
