The following prayer request is so important for all of us to pray for.  Can you imagine if you were thrown in prison for "Actively witnessing about Christ" and while you're in prison, away from your baby - your baby dies?

Ghenet Gebremariam's six-month-old baby, Hazaiel Daniel, was desperately ill at the time. Two days later, the baby died. When security police heard the news, they released Ghenet on bail. The other two women, Meslale Abraham and Alganshe Tsagay, remain in custody. No reason is given for their arrest other than their involvement in a church banned by the government.

Please pray for the Lord to comfort Ghenet and also that the other two women would be released soon.

I think I read about this firt in my VOM email newsletter. I was touched. My prayers go out to this mother. May the words of our Lord in John 15:18-19 “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. "

May we all continue to remain faithful to our Lord!

I pray for these faithful Christian mothers. I pray they are reminded about their heavenly reward as they give up every earthly thing for our Lord, Jesus Christ. They are an example for the rest of us on how we are to take up our cross and follow Him...daily.
