Yesterday I wrote a piece about this tragedy for Newsbusters, here is the opening paragraph...
Last week four Christian Indonesian girls who were on their way to their Christian high school were attacked by hooded attackers who successfully beheaded three of the girls. However, what most people would consider an outrage, The Washington Post and the the LA Times doesn't even consider newsworthy. Finish reading here and note the 98 comments. This is a hot issue.
Today Christianity Today has a great recap called Christian Teens Beheaded in Indonesia .
Please take some time to read these articles and then pray and act by telling the Indonesian Embassy your concerns.

Hi,
Christian Persecution certainly is a reality thruout the World and has been in Indonesia for some time. We need to protest but not heap unGodly abuse on those responsible. WHY? Because then we are moving in the same spirit as the abusers who beheaded those girls. Lets bless and not curse, while praying, protesting and asking Indonesia to take full responsibility.
God is never the author of death and destruction, or of Tsunamis! Satan is! God is the giver of Life and Love and we are to love our enemies or we are no better than those who persecute us.
Lord we bless and do not curse them and ask you to transform them by your Spirit and our Love. Paul the Apostle once persecuted and put your people to death too and look who he became!

Hi,
this is a reflection of the bigger problem in Indonesia and where evil has flourished under a cloud and blanket of darkeness. Where there is no vision the people perish, and those that follow evil and bare fruits of evil, then oppress the innocent and then say get over it, speaks of the darkness that is in their hard hearts.
Lord Jesus Christ, be thou thy vision, Bring Your vision to these darker areas...open the eyes that they may see.
Our hearts are with the families of those being persecuted and the family's of the girls lost, His beautiful daughers His rose of Sharons....His beloveds, we mourn for thee, we greave for thee...we lament in the ashes and we cry out for thee...Come quickly thy beloved, come to our aid and set these people free Oh Lord, shine your light and remove the darkness and evil, forevermore.
Flood ur beautiful true justice, ur Sovereign Loveliving Grace through out this region and in all the dark nations and hearts around the world. May the hatred stop in Lord Jesus Christ's name, amen.
