More Beheading Pictures

Beheaded_girl Are you grossed out?  Good.  I had a friend send me more pictures of this grisly beheading that is continuing to be ignored by the mainstream media.

And all I can say is that if you think that being a Christian in a country where Islam is the majority religion, well, this is your future.

Friends, I am so serious when I say that it's time we started standing up for those who are being persecuted and killed mercilessly.

I am more than outraged at this latest incident in Indonesia, and it's amazing to me that there isn't more outrage.

So view this picture for a very long time.  Download it.  Save it.  Look at it, and then do something!

A great place to start is by signing up to be a partner with us, and by blogging about this issue.  You can also sign up to receive the VOM magazine.  Do something...because we can't let this precious saint's death be forgotten.  She was our sister, and I grieve her loss and her friends as well.

Are you busy tonight? Cause someone's going to have to stay up all night with my terrified preschoolers after they view that picture.

They know people persecute Christians, but at age three and four they don't need to have nightmares about it.

Now I know I should only visit this site when my young children aren't with me... I would have appreciated a warning.

The killings have succesfully made some Christian become haters.
That's very sad.

Stacy, you live far away from my country, you will not be hurt if anything happen in Indonesia.
But all who are in Indonesia would be in deep trouble, if many people turn to hate each other because of such propaganda like that.

You are not Christian at all, if hate is what you spread.
Jesus suffered more than us but He never spread hate.
He will suffer more if we hate each other.

At least pay respect to the death. Showing her like that...
What will happen if one of the girl's relatives see that pic?
What do you want by putting sadictic into your website?
You even don't put the sign that this site is not safe for children.

Btw, I'm Christian, Indonesian, and live in Indonesia.
Please, if you don't want to pray so the killers can be caught and punished, at least don't pray for our deaths.

I think we all need a reality check about the days in which we are currently living. It isn't pretty but it is a reality and we need to awakened to how serious these times really are. Thankyou for caring enough to slap the church out of it's slumber including me.

I look at this site for updates & opinions - I already know what the effects of evil look like.

I think you made a mistake publishing those pictures.

Scripture tells us to treat parts of the body (our phycisal body and the spiritual body of Christ) with modesty.

The physical bodies of our martyrs are surely worthy of that dignity.

It’s true the photo is horrific…but I believe we don’t really grasp what many of our brothers and sisters are suffering for the cause of Christ.

It is disturbing, and well it should be..often words on a page don’t tell the whole story..someone said “a picture is worth a thousand words”

Maybe some of your readers will remember the movie “The Passion of Christ” graphic for sure, but few will forget it.. Holy Communion for many will never be the same..

You keep up the good work, don’t let the weak kneed among us slow you down..

I have to agree with some commenters that you might want to put up a warning for such material, and only show it upon a second click.

But I agree with you in saying that, while we do not want to promote hate or revenge, we do want to heighten awareness of these types of outrageous atrocities - our media is so tolerant of Islam and other evil ideologies that it barely reports on these items, and everyone who loves freedom and peace should be outraged at such things and demand that their governments crack down on individuals that commit crimes and the organizations that promote such sedicious activities.

The fact is, this is not just the work of a few crazies, and "Islamic extremists" are not just a fringe group within Islam because *their founding documents teach violence*. And while we can never bring righteousness or faith with the sword, the sword of our governmental agencies will have to be used against such radicals, lest their brand of religious naziism destroy and oppress even more nations. Europe, as we have seen in Paris, has just begun to face the scurge of Islamic intolerance and hate.

Having even more graphic pictures than this of this terrible travesty, we ultimately decided not to release them apart from one of two of the girls being placed in a body bag (you really can't see much). The reason I chose not the use the more graphic ones was out of respect of the girls themselves. I won't criticize Stacy for deciding differently. I am sure she didn't mean to do it for sensationalism.

This was not a matter of a right action or not. Personally, I just was so heart-broken over this story that I couldn't go ahead and post the pictures, as I tried to imagine how their parents must feel. I had put together a slide show of the pictures and then I looked at them again. I thought to myself, "I can't post that one" Then I removed another and another. And then I realized that I just couldn't do it. I have a teenage daughter; I wouldn't want this kind of picture to be the lasting image of her life. Hence, this was a personal choice on my part. I respect Stacy for having the courage to post the picture. As a Communications Director for VOM Canada, perhaps I should have posted them. I just couldn't do it, as a father.

I am amissionary in Mexico. A country that "talks" of religious freedom but doesn't walk it. Though we have not the level of persecution in the area I and my family(wife, 5 children (8-18))work there are many stories that come out of areas further south of us (chiapas) that show the true nature of this countries religion (and its not Islam).
I beleive the church in the US needs to wake up.
I think that the youth in our day and age that are used to seeing images far worse than that of our sisters from indonesia, need to see that there are young people giving their lives for Christ. Many youth are so hung up on relationships and dating and "x"box and whatever the latest thing is that they (as well as their parents) need a good cold jolt of what being a christian is really like in many places outside of the good old U.S.of A. It isn't about a mega church and dramas and great worship bands. Its about hiding in the dark to pray, sharing a page from the Bible because a page is all you have. It is living with the daily stress that your children may not have a tomorrow, let alone and "x"box or a boyfriend.
I remember when I went to a traffic school once when I was younger and the CHP (Ca. Highway Patrol) showed their graffic pictures of highway fatalities, trying to make a point about driving safely. It worked. I beleive pictures like this will also.
My heart goes out to the families and I pray that they may (if they even see the pictures)see them as a tool to wake up sleepy Christians to the horrors that our brothers and sisters face every day. This is reality.

I would suggest a warning, 18 and over before viewing the picture. But I believe it should be shown. People who turn a blind eye to these atrocities are the ones who get burnt in the end. I just got back from Egypt, a one month graduate study program. And I can tell you that there was hardly a time, that I wasnt getting and unwelcomed stare.

I would not suggest traveling in these countries without alot of protection in numbers.

Well i just seen the video's of the hostages in Irag being beheaded,as well as the photo of the girl at the top of the page,rest her sole. I tell you it's changed my life,to see such a total disregard for life,Haterid at its worst, It brings me to my knees.I'm some one who belives in God and the teachings of Jesus, but i also follow Buddhist teachings as well,I'm very open to all people and their belifes,Islam,Jews,humanists, call me what you want a Christian or a buddhist it makes no differice to me ,The bottom line is we have to stop labeling people,this draws lines between us,gaps that allow for hate to spring up ,we are all chideren of God.We have to have more unconditional love, forgiveness, compassion, empathy, understanding, harmony, acceptance, peace, contentment, openness, concerns for others (caring)for all people.This is the trueth.

I am beyond outraged that those CRIMINAL Pseudo-Islamist Extremists/Murderers can get away with the most hideous atrocities committed against innocent people.
What do we do? We ( the U.S. ) need to send highly-trained SWAT-like Navy Seal-type assasins who can blend in with the locals in hostile lands. These assasins should easily blend in with the locals so they can track down the terrorists and kill them - mercilessly of course. These assasins(spies) should be like those Special Ops Forces who, at least by appearance, blend in with the locals. Instead of offering a $25 MILLION DOLLAR BOUNTY to just anyone for the capture of Bin Laden and Zarqawi, why NOT use that money to pay the salaries of specially-trained assasins whose sole job is to find and kill terrorists. Any trained gunman/assasin who can take out Bin Laden and his posse deserves more than a $25 Million Dollar Reward. So what you think of this idea? I'm probably NOT the first person to think of this NOT-SO-RADICAL idea.

So stop propagating such things online as such truths are already covered by many organisations . No point in propagating what is already desensitized and known by the masses .

What you sould do are to provide with a more solid and better understanding that all men are created from the same source .

I am truly sorry as a Christian that I can not do more, but this is where Christians stand apart from the perpetrators of this gross act of malicious murder - we do what our Holy Bible teaches us - "Love those that hurt you and bless those that curse you" "Be not afraid of those that murder the body, but those that murder the soul" - Our Christian values are so great we can not hate the perpetrators - though we can hate what they do. Jesus on the cross said "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do".

To the families of the three murdered girls, let me say this - I do know how you feel. My nephew Peter was murdered in Australia (yes, in Australia) in 1980 by a gang of peodophiles. He was a Christian boy of just 13 years of age, and was in music/song ministry in the local church and his songs went to far-east Russia.

I forgave his murderer's because our forgiveness releases them into God's grace. This is the hardest thing for a Christian to do and it is the acid test of our faith.

Let's rise above all those things that try to pull down our faith and love those that do grievous things to us - that my friends is what our faith is about.

Thanks, for the Graphic Picture I have been surfing Google for 2 hours to find some pictures for a college speech on religious persecution, and sofar yours is the best. This picture is worth 1,000 words. It's not a candy coated version of the facts,it is the TRUTH, and the TRUTH HERTS! I hope this makes you take action, because the worst thing all of us can do to her sacrifice; is ignore it!
